On behalf of the United States’ National Maritime Intelligence-Integration Office (NMIO), it is our pleasure to invite you to attend the 2021 Global Maritime Forum (GMF) Workshop, to be held in person and virtually Tuesday through Thursday, 21 – 23 September 2021 in Honolulu, Hawai‘i.
This year’s theme, Fathoming the Future: Examining Evolutionary Variables in a Multidimensional Maritime Domain, will focus on the central role innovative science and technology will play in developing a thorough knowledge of the seabed environment and understanding how it will change over time to protect global interests and critical infrastructure and respond to climate change. Topics include:
- Seafloor Infrastructure and Technology
- Climatological Influences on the Undersea Domain
- Autonomous Influences on the Undersea Domain
- Extreme Undersea Futures 2040
Leading experts will facilitate panel sessions to be followed by group discussions designed to provide participants with an opportunity to explore the future of undersea technology and policy in greater depth.
