NMIO Technical Bulletins

The Technical Bulletin is a key vehicle promoting enhanced maritime domain awareness and information sharing via NMIO’s S&T public-private-academic-international partnerships and cooperation. Published once per year on a topic aligned with the thematic focus area of the Global Maritime Forum, each volume consists of articles are solicited and received from high-level academic institutions, industry partners, and nonprofit organizations from across the globe.

The Technical Bulletin directly supports the NMIO S&T mission and strategic guidance as set forth by the Director of National Intelligence to engage academia, think tanks, the private sector, and foreign governments for a common understanding of the implications of emerging technologies.

The mission of the National Maritime Intelligence-Integration Office (NMIO) is to advance maritime intelligence integration, information sharing, and domain awareness to foster unity of effort to protect the United States and its global interests, its allies, and its partners against threats to, in, or emanating from the global maritime domain.
